2010 REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)


Thirdhand Tobacco Smoke Exposure and Public Health Risk Assessment, and
(2) Effects of Environmental Contamination by Cigarette Butts
This initiative aims to create and fund collaborations of multi-disciplinary groups of investigators from non-profit academic and community research organizations in California to conduct research on (1) the impact of thirdhand tobacco smoke exposure from indoor surfaces and air quality on public health, and (2) the effects of water and soil contamination by cigarette butts on organisms and humans.

Applications will be available online in early July 2010.

Cornelius Hopper Diversity Award Supplement (CHDAS)
(TRDRP) is offering the Cornelius Hopper Diversity Award Supplement (CHDAS) to currently-funded TRDRP principal investigators. This supplement is for the training of promising individuals in the field of tobacco-related disease research.
